Chatcart is operated by DanixSoft (“we”). This policy explains what we collect when you use Chatcart, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Your account: your email address and a password, stored by our authentication provider (passwords are hashed, never stored in plain text).
- Your store: the store name, phone and city you enter, and your settings.
- Your business records: orders, products, courier details, payouts and notes you enter.
- Your customers’ details: names, phone numbers, cities and addresses that you enter or paste when creating orders.
How we use it
- To run Chatcart for you: show your orders, calculate totals, produce slips and exports.
- To keep the service secure and working, and to contact you about your account or important changes.
Text you paste into smart paste is processed in your browser to fill in the order form. It is only stored if you save the order.
Your customers’ data
You decide what customer information to enter, and you are responsible for having a reason to hold it, such as fulfilling their order. We process it only to provide Chatcart to you. We never contact your customers, and we never sell, rent or share their data for marketing. WhatsApp messages are sent by you, from your own WhatsApp.
Who can see your data
Data is tied to your store and protected by row-level security in the database, so other stores cannot read it. We use infrastructure providers (for hosting and the database) who process data on our behalf. We may disclose data if the law requires it.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can export your orders as CSV at any time. To delete your account and store data, contact us and we will delete it, except where we must keep records by law.
Cookies
We use cookies that are needed to keep you signed in and remember which store you are working in. We do not use advertising cookies. Your theme choice is kept in your browser’s local storage.
